You have to marvel at the factory condition of these beautiful birds. The instrument cluster of the 66 has a few more warning lights and perhaps a few more aviation controls..but both are very similar. The main styling difference appears to be the grille...the 66 has a more complicate, egg crate pattern. Some chrome trim on the front fenders is present on the 65 and absent on the 66. The shape of the hood scoop varies. I'll let it to my viewers to figure any more differences! BTW, the tops similarly disappear into the electrically controlled trunk areas...a neat way to store the folding tops! Ford had the market cornered on folding tops, fabric or metal!
