When I first pulled the heads apart it was evident that the "rebuild" was sloppy. The intake valve and the exhaust valves were all Chevy/GM. The exhaust valves were fine though and we reused them. The intake valves though, well, they were quite a bit longer than the exhaust and were making the closed spring pressure too light. All new intake valves took care of the problem. We now have a closde pressure of about 70PSI. For machine work for both old and new see Mando's Machine Shop www.mandosmachineshop.com Music by: Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Title: "Exotics"
